Bone Greft

The placement of cases with severe bone deficiency, especially in the upper jaw anterior region or lower jaw posterior region, in the appropriate position is often a problem. With this method, the patient can be implanted with the appropriate size and diameter by making the insufficient bone volume sufficient for the implant application.

One of the methods applied is the augmentation of the region with autogenous (with the individual's own bone) onlay grafts. Alveolar bone resorption is an irreversible condition. For this reason, bone augmentation procedures should be applied especially in implant surgeries. Autogenous bone grafts, which are mostly obtained from the posterior region of the lower jaw, are placed in areas where the bone is insufficient and fixed with osteosynthesis screws. The aim of the surgical method is to prepare the bone defects for implant surgery after augmentation.
